Hotel management and tourism are open to students from any stream after Class 12. Common routes include a Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM), a B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, degrees in Tourism and Travel Management, and diplomas in culinary arts or specific hospitality areas. Some institutes select students through an entrance exam. Practical training and internships in hotels are a major part of most courses.
