Who should take career counselling?
It is useful for students choosing subjects after Class 10, selecting courses after Class 12, comparing college or postgraduate options, or reconsidering a course that no longer feels suitable.
Are career counselling and career counseling the same?
Yes. Counselling is the spelling commonly used in India and the UK, while counseling is the American spelling. Both describe professional guidance that helps students make informed education and career decisions.
What does the Career Captain assessment examine?
The five-dimensional approach examines interests, personality, skills and abilities, learning style, and values and motivators. The findings are interpreted with the student rather than treated as a stand-alone score.
Will the assessment select one career for me?
No responsible assessment should make the decision on its own. It provides evidence for a conversation in which suitable options, practical requirements and the student’s aspirations are compared.
Should parents participate?
