Book a time
Message us on WhatsApp or call, tell us the student’s class and the decision ahead.
Career Captain’s office is in Defence Colony, Sainikpuri. This page explains what a counselling visit looks like, what to bring and how to make the most of the time, so you and your child walk in prepared and walk out with a plan.
Most families come to us with a decision and a deadline: a stream to choose, a college list to finalise, or a course that is not working. The visit is built around that decision.
Message us on WhatsApp or call, tell us the student’s class and the decision ahead.
The student completes an online assessment matched to their class and age, without outside help.
We go through the report with the student and parents, explain patterns and compare real options.
You leave with clear next steps. Follow-up questions can be sent on WhatsApp.
The assessment is not one fixed test for everyone. The questionnaire and the report are matched to the student’s class and age, so a Class 8 report looks different from a Class 12, graduate or working-professional report. Ask us to show you a sample report for your stage before you decide.
Class 8–10 career awareness and stream selection after Class 10.
Course, college and entrance choices, including what to do after Class 12.
Wrong-course worries, career change and growth plans. See our working professionals guidance.
We are on the 1st floor, Road No. 1, in the lane next to SBI Bank in Sapthagiri Colony, Defence Colony. Please message before you come so we can give you our full attention.

Career Captain is led by Anil Velpula, a certified career counsellor with more than 20 years of corporate, training and mentoring experience.
His work across GE Capital, Synchrony and Cognizant gives a practical view of what different careers actually demand day to day. That perspective sits alongside the assessment results, so recommendations stay grounded in real courses, real jobs and the student’s own circumstances.
Yes, please message or call before you visit so the counsellor can set aside time for you. Our hours are Monday–Saturday 10:00 AM–8:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM–1:00 PM.
The assessment is completed online, usually at home and before the session, so the counsellor can study the report in advance. The discussion then happens at our office or online.
Yes. Parents are welcome, because budget, location and family expectations are part of a practical plan. The student’s own views stay at the centre of the discussion.
Yes. Career counselling (or career counseling, in American spelling) at our Sainikpuri office is also available for graduates and working professionals considering a change or planning growth.
Message us the student’s class and the decision ahead, and we will suggest a time.
