A 15-minute conversation by phone or WhatsApp about the decision ahead.
You do not need to be in Hyderabad to work with Career Captain. The assessment is completed online, and the counselling discussion happens on a video call on Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp video, whichever suits your family. Parents can join from home or work.
The process is the same as an office session. Only the meeting place changes.
A 15-minute conversation by phone or WhatsApp about the decision ahead.
Completed at home on a laptop or phone, without outside help.
On Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp video. We go through the report together.
You receive your report and clear next steps. Questions can follow on WhatsApp.
The assessment is not the same for everyone. School students, degree students and working professionals each receive a different questionnaire and report, built for their stage. Depending on the stage, it looks at areas such as these:
Which kinds of work hold the person’s attention: practical, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising or organised.
Preferred ways of working, deciding and dealing with people and structure.
Areas of relative strength in reasoning, numbers, language and problem solving.
How the person understands emotions and which kinds of intelligence come naturally.
How they prefer to take in and work with information.
What they want from work: security, creativity, helping others, income, independence and more.
Career Captain is committed to protecting your personal information, as set out in our privacy policy on the Study Abroad page. Assessment results are discussed with the student and the family members who join the session. If you have questions about how your information is used, email info@careercaptain.co.in.
Career Captain is led by Anil Velpula, a certified career counsellor with more than 20 years of corporate, training and mentoring experience.
His work across GE Capital, Synchrony and Cognizant gives a practical view of what different careers actually demand day to day. That perspective sits alongside the assessment results, so recommendations stay grounded in real courses, real jobs and the student’s own circumstances.
